Almost simultaneously to the start of TPP operations in the port of Guaymas, pipeline disembarkation operations for the Samalayuca-S`asabe gas pipeline also started. In TPP we carried out the discharge maneuver, which involved more than 18,000 tubes, said cargo proceeding from 10 different ships. The managed pipeline was 12, 18 and up to 24 meters long. It was undoubtedly an operation that required careful planning, coordination and constant communication between all participants, transporters, authorities, inspectors, etc. The operation was carried out with three cranes, operating simultaneously, we used lifting-beams, slings and, more than everything, hooks with a special coating to avoid damaging the pipes.

During the operation both personnel in the maneuver and the operator of the crane are provided with communication equipment to ensure that the maneuver is carried out safely. Prior to starting our operations in these ships, meetings were held with the whole working team that would be involved. It was an operation that demonstrated the ability of Port of Guaymas to fulfill great projects.
